Libertango for saxophone quartet and trumpet quartet arr. Galik (2018)

This arrangement of Libertango was a special project arranged for the encore of a senior recital program I shared with my good friend and trumpet player, Katrina Vinkman.

Both of us had the pleasure of working with fantastic musicians in our quartets and we wanted to go out with a bang, featuring all eight of us at once!

The arrangement as is contains an improvisational section for both 1st trumpet and the soprano saxophone, but can be skipped or opened up for even more solos.
